Traditional high street retailer, Panters, have moved into the 21st century with a new e-commerce web site.

Panters who have been traded on the High Street since 1894, have outlets in Exeter, Exmouth and Plymouth and specialise in selling well-known brand names at very competitive prices.

Not wanting to be a company that was left behind in the e-commerce rush, Panters decided the time had come to get on line and live up to their motto, “A small company with big ideas”. Commissioned in 2007 to produce an e-commerce site selling their bedroom and bathroom ranges, pulse8 produced a web site that generated such excellent income within the first three months of the site going live, that Panters immediately decided to step-up the capability of their e-commerce facility and commissioned another new site. The new site covers all of the ranges that Panters currently retail, including bedroom, bathroom and kitchenware and is expandable to allow for further ranges to be added. Simple and straightforward to use, the site has all of the professionalism on which the company has built its reputation and competes with the likes of Debenhams and John Lewis in terms of design and functionality.

The site even includes a wedding list section, allowing couples to register their details and compile a wedding list from which their guests can purchase gifts.

The new site will last the company several years and can be updated by the client via a user-friendly admin area created by pulse8, placing the control of the website in the hands of Panters.
