Electronista have published a very interesting, if not very scientific, head to head review of the four main web browsers, Internet Explorer (IE), Firefox, Safari and Google Chrome.

Interestingly, Safari and Chrome seem to lead the way in both speed and compliance to the major web standards. Unfortunately, bringing up the rear with it's brand new browser offering was Microsoft with Internet Explorer 8, which managed to be the slowest on all tests and comprehensively fail the compliance tests.
