At least we would like to think so. And to prove how good we look in a pair of cycling shorts, Matthew, Brady and myself (Ed) have entered into the first ever Plymouth Marjons Adventure Day to be held around Plymouth on the 4th October.

Plymouth Marjon Adventure Day (M.A.D.) is the first Plymouth urban adventure challenge where teams or individuals race in a multi-sport test of navigation, endurance and skills on a course that is only revealed hours before the event begins.

The event encompasses cycling, orienteering, running, abseiling, wall climbing and rowing and should certainly put our fitness to the test.

Already training hard, Brady and myself are running twice around the Saltram grounds (5 miles), cycling as often as possible and trying to stay off the pies from the local deli...

Where as Matthew cycles to the pub on the weekends and lifts heavy pints to bulk up his guns.

A fair while to go yet so we’ll keep you up-to-date on our training regime and let you know how we’re getting on.
